Privacy Policy

Nawtara reads sheet music from a photo, a scan or a PDF and plays it. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.

What stays on your phone

Your library, corrections and settings are stored on your phone. Audio exports are made on your phone and never sent to us. Uninstalling the app removes them.

What we handle

• The sheets you send. The app uploads the photo or PDF you choose so our server can read it and return the score. We use it only for that.
• Counts about each reading: how many bars and notes were read, how many the reader was unsure of and why, and the kind of file (photo, scan or PDF). They contain no music or picture and are not linked to you; they are kept with the result and deleted with it. We use them only to check how well the service reads sheets and to fix what it gets wrong.
• A random install number, created when the app first runs. It holds nothing about you and lets the server count your pages.
• Your page balance: pages used and received, with dates and, for purchases, the store's transaction number.
• Purchases. Payment is made through the App Store or Google Play; we never see your name, email or card. RevenueCat confirms purchases using the install number and the purchase details the store provides.
• Your IP address, used only in memory to handle requests and limit abuse. It is not stored.

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location or any advertising identifier.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded sheets and their results are deleted automatically after 30 days, or at once when you delete the score in the app.
• Uploaded sheets are not kept in backups. The page balance is kept while the service runs.

Service providers

We use OVHcloud (server in Frankfurt, EU), Cloudflare (secure connection), RevenueCat (purchase checks, United States) and Apple or Google (distribution and payment). They process data only to provide their service to us. Transfers outside your country use the safeguards the law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers.

Security

All connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and the server accepts traffic only through Cloudflare.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. Delete scores in the app, or write to [email protected]. These rights come from Moroccan Law 09-08 and, in the European Union, the GDPR. Our legal basis is providing the service you request and keeping it safe. You may complain to the CNDP in Morocco or to your local data protection authority.

Children

Nawtara asks for no personal information and is suitable for all ages. Purchases go through the store, where parents can require approval.

We will update this page and its date before any change takes effect.
